Reading the chapter in my film book “Eyes Wide Open” that discussed Leaving Las Vegas and Pretty Woman has partially restored my hope in humanity.
Really, I just need someone to say, “Sex is really not like that, not at all…it’s ridiculous!” every now and then to keep me from retreating into the woods and joining a nunnery. I was certain the things talked...
My whole brain is a struggle today. Everything I think about leads to something I’m struggling with. I’m at war with myself and I’m trapped underneath the battlefield.

Here’s why.
Yesterday I had to watch Leaving Las Vegas for a film class.
It totally ruined sex and alcohol for me. I was already wary of both and easily disturbed, but now I’m disgusted.
It makes everything worse to get on Tumblr and see sixteen- or seventeen-year-old girls reblogging pictures of celebrities with comments that are openly sexual.

I think I can/should invent my own technology/fashion style where typical sci-fi meets steampunk meets dystopia.
That way I can have steampunk watches and spyglasses with sleek hovercrafts and drab clothing.

When I say a guy’s good-looking, especially when referring to actors and total strangers, I mean his face has a pleasing shape and expression.
